Resources & Support

Access Clean California is a statewide initiative that connects income-qualified residents with clean energy and transportation benefits. The program partners with various state and regional clean transportation and energy programs to ensure participants receive all the benefits they qualify for.
The Driving Clean Assistance Program (DCAP) provides financial incentives to help low-income Californians purchase or lease new or used electric vehicles. Eligible participants can receive up to $10,000, with an additional $2,000 available for charging equipment or $7,500 for clean mobility options. The program also offers financial counseling and referrals to lenders to ensure fair financing options.
The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) offers tools to improve commuting, including SmartRide.org, a platform for comparing travel options, tracking impacts, and accessing rewards; an Emergency Ride Home Program reimbursing up to four emergency trips annually for alternative commuters; and resources for transit, vanpool, carpool, biking, walking, and flexible work options.
